You are being invited to take part in a research study. Before you decide to take part, it is important that you take the time to understand why the research is being done and what it will involve. Please take time to read the following information carefully. Thank you.
The purpose of this study is to examine the provision of learning support in Higher Education. This will involve investigating attitudes towards inclusion and the frequency at which strategies for supporting students with learning difficulties/disabilities are implemented.
You have been chosen as you work in higher education and this study exclusively focuses on the experiences of staff in Higher Education. However, you are not required to take part unless you would like to. Even if you do agree to take part, you can withdraw during the survey without any consequences. However, after submitting your answers you won’t be able to withdraw from the study because we won’t be able to identify your data.
This questionnaire will be answered anonymously. Additionally, all information you provide will be stored in a secure, password protected storage facility.
The results of this study will be written up as part of a dissertation project in partial fulfilment for an MSc course and potentially published in an academic journal.
